A brief post this morning, as I am in town on business and pleasure. On the pleasure side, our big mama cow, Katrina, had her baby, a fantastic little fuzzy bull calf we’ve named Shaggy. Mama and baby (and two big sisters from previous years) are doing great. Boy, those Highland calves are especially cute! I’ll fill you in on the story later…

I love these cow pictures, and baby shaggy is just adorable. I have a thing for cows, and with all this fuzz I can’t even take it!

The first time I’ve had a little time and it is fun to
see Shaggy and know things are okay there. I
wish they were here maybe I’d spend more time
out in the pasture.
