YOU DID A REMARKABLE THING . YOU DO KNOW HOW TO DO WITH OUT ELECTRITY . EVERY ONE THINKS THEY NEED POWER TO RUN THEIR TOOLS . THERE IS MORE THAN ONE KIND OF POWER . YOU HAD THE SECOND THE BEST ONE .SOMETIMES YOUR POWER IS LOW AND YOU NEED A BOOST . THE OLD MAN WAS YOUR BOOSTER PACK . PEOPLE FORGET YOU HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE .ALL THE BUILDING IN HISTORY HAD TO START ONE STONE AT A TIME .SOUNDS LIKE YOUR LIFE HAS NOT BEEN EASY BUT YOU WILL SURVIVE NO MATTER WHAT .YOU ARE A STRONG WOMEN NOT A FLITTER ABOUT . NOT MANY LIKE YOU ANYMORE . MY WIFE WAS ONCE BUT NOW AT 77 SHE IS IN VERY BAD HEALTH AND CRIES WHEN SHE SEES THE THINGS SHE USED TO BE ABLE TO MAKE AND THE AWARDS SHE GOT AT FAIRS WITH HER SEWING . KEEP YOUR FAITH IN YOUR SELF AND TEACH YOUR SON THE SAME .IN THE END PEOPLE LIKE YOUR FAMILY WILL BE THE ONLY ONES THAT ARE LEFT TO BUILD A NEW WORLD .IT WILL HAVE GOOD PEOPLE TO GET IT STARTED AGAIN . AND BE A BETTER WORLD THAN WE HAVE NOW !!

Gin – amazing! You really are an inspiration. Women have a gift to see the big picture, which is a good thing, I believe. But then it’s sometimes difficult to see the forest for the trees (is that even the correct saying here?) But what I mean is that it can be easy for us to get overwhelmed, or at least that’s how I feel at times – so it’s always helpful when someone reminds us about the grains of sand.

Hi Karen,
Thank you for being there.
I am behind in responding to you, to everyone, and behind in catching up with what others have been up to, where others have been, and what others have written. Just a little selfish time, I’m afraid. I’m sorry. It has meant so much to me to have others to reach out to, and receive a warm hug back – even one over the internet. Thank you. (and everyone…) I should say more, and I will. I took my camera out today, took a hike, and felt the mountain again. You know how I always say “nature heals.” She does. I want to hear more about what you and your boys have been up to. Time to reach out again, and that feels right.

No! But I wish. Imagine if everyone of us could hear that every day? Cause it’s true, isn’t it, for all of us? I wonder what it would be like if every child was told he/she was “gifted and talented” – because they ALL are, aren’t they?
